UAE VAT

The Value Added Tax (VAT) was introduced by Federal Decree Law No. 8 of 2017 and promulgated by the President of the UAE on 23rd August 2017 for goods and services supplied in the UAE and implemented in the UAE starting 1st January 2018.

Double Taxation Agreements

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) is responsible for Double Taxation Agreements. Ministry adopts best International Financial Relations and Organisations Department who is responsible for negotiating with nations of the world to conclude agreements.

Tax residency certificates

The UAE tax residency certificate is issued by the Ministry of Finance to the eligible government entities, companies and individuals to take advantage of agreements of double taxation avoidance on income signed by the UAE.

UAE Taxation

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) was established by virtue of Federal Law Decree no. 13 of 2016 promulgated by the President of the UAE on 26 th September 2016. The law provides for the organizational structure of FTA.

Cross border taxation

Cross order taxation can be defined as a transaction in an international trade between 2 or more entities beyond the territorial limits of a country or a transaction in a domestic trade. Cross border taxations are primarily business considerations.
